  Introduction to ArcObjects  
 
 
 

This course covers the basic concepts of how to integrate the Visual Basic programming language with ArcObjects. The course is designed for programmers at a beginner or intermediate level. Course participants will be led through a series of nine modules covering many basic topics related to the programming the ArcGIS Desktop platform. Course topics include Maps and Layers, Spatial and Attribute selections, working with geometry objects, manipulating graphics, creating custom layouts, and many more.

 
 
  This course is designed for beginner to intermediate level ArcGIS programmers who wish to learn the basics of customizing the ArcGIS Desktop platform for creating custom applications and automating geoprocessing tasks. It is recommended that students complete the Introduction to VBA for ArcMap course also offered by GeoSpatial Training and Consulting LLC.  
 
  Internet Browser (recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.
